Hi, I’m Ashley Fijman- an educator, mentor, and proud mom of three daughters, ages 17, 21, and 23, attending Archbishop Mitty High School (senior), Santa Clara University (junior), and USC (recent graduate).

I am deeply passionate about helping students succeed and connecting with them in ways that unlock each student’s full potential, both academically and personally.

I hold a B.A. in Child Development and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and I have over 28 years of experience preparing 8th-grade students for the HSPT exam and providing private tutoring.

In addition to test preparation, I work closely with students on high school and college application essays, helping them find their voice, tell their story with confidence, and present themselves authentically. From brainstorming ideas to final edits, I guide students through a thoughtful, structured writing process that leads to compelling and polished essays.

My approach combines proven academic strategies with individualized attention, ensuring each student feels supported, prepared, and confident as they take the next step in their educational journey.
